Recent Awards, Recognition, and Speeches
Herndon, VA – Over the past several weeks, VARCom and its leadership have been honored to receive a variety of awards and recognitions and VARCom’s president, Danny Vargas, has been called upon to provide keynote speeches at several fora.
VARCom president, Danny Vargas received the “Maestro Award for Leadership” in New York City from Latino Leaders Magazine. He also received the “Distinguished Citizen Award” from the National Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, Powhatan District, as well as the “TechInnovadores Award” from HTTP (Hispanic Technology & Telecommunications Partnership). He was also inducted into the list of “101 Most Influential Latinos in the U.S.” by Latino Leaders Magazine for the third year in a row.
Vargas also spoke before a variety of audiences and media outlets on topics ranging from veterans issues, to business development, to the vital roles Latinos have played in American history and today. These included the following:

“It is deeply humbling to receive awards and recognition, but more importantly, it is a reminder that we must continue to find ways to serve our neighbors and our nation and make a positive difference,” stated Danny Vargas, Founder and President of VARCom Solutions. He is the Chairman of the Virginia Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, Founder/Chairman/CEO of the American Latino Veterans Association, Chairman of the Northern Virginia Regional Council to GO Virginia, Chairman Emeritus of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, former Chairman of the Virginia Board of Workforce Development and also serves on various boards and commissions.
