Leadership Fairfax Announces Newly Elected Board of Directors
Leadership Fairfax unveiled its 2021-22 Board of Directors, with Danny Vargas of VARComm Solutions serving as the new chairman
Vienna, VA – Leadership Fairfax announces the recent election and appointment of its 2021-2022 Board of Directors. The Board will lead the mission to inspire, connect, develop and engage leaders to positively impact issues facing the region through spearheading leadership development programming and equity focused training offered through the organization’s three leadership programs – Leadership Fairfax Institute Signature Program, Emerging Leaders Institute and Lifetime Leaders Program.

Danny Vargas, President and Founder of VARCom Solutions will now begin his term as Chairman of the board, as Kimberly Stewart, Founder of Stepping Stones Consulting ends her year of leadership service. Vargas also serves as the Chairman Emeritus of the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, former Chairman of the Virginia Board of Workforce Development as well as the Dulles Regional Chamber and is the Secretary of the Virginia State Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Cynthia Bailey, Deputy County Attorney for Fairfax County, joins the board in the position of Vice-Chair.

Our board, including the exceptional and diverse group of new members, is prepared to make a real difference at a time when the region needs it most.”
